As part of a promotion for Drake’s Sept. 24 release of “Nothing Was the Same,” the Toronto spitter set up a pop up shop in NYC’s Lower East Side to hand out 500 free shirts hyping the album. Hundreds of people lined up for hours to cop a shirt, and it didn’t take long for things to go south.
Less than two hours after the store opened at 1 p.m., bystanters said a fight broke out and police were called about reports of a stabbing, reports DNA Info. Cops said they could find no evidence of a fight or stabbing.
