How G-Eazy and Drake aren’t working together or going on a year long tour together is beyond me. Say good or bad things if you will, but they’re basically the same style, sound, and have much of the same fans. I heard about G-Eazy first from a few of our IAPGirls, especially Lauren Marie. DJ Jelly has worked with him over 2 years ago, he was requested by G-Eazy’s record label for a sound at Masquerade in Atlanta. DJ Jelly thought this was just going to be small show, but the entire venue was sold out. I know some of you are sitting whiny about how he’s a white rapper, he’s not from the streets, and you can do so much better. Ok, prove then… Where’s your fans like G-Eazy that buy, YES with real money, all of your albums and get all of their friends to sellout all of your shows. Just like Drake. I think it’s only a matter of time before that happens, because when I got his first DJ Service Pack from him I thought it was Drake. At least he doesn’t sound like Young Thug, because Atlanta has too many of the Young Thug wannabes. Oh, and those girls you see in his videos aren’t just models, they actually like him.
